TOP Games of All Time (2024) 100-91

TOP 100 - 91

We love games! We started our company because we care about the games that we play.

After thousands of plays, it's time to post OUR Top 100 Games of All Time (2024 edition).

This is our first list and we will try a longer format. We will post the next parts of the list every 2 weeks or so. Depending on your feedback, we might change the format next year… but lets go to the point:

  1. Fuji Flush

Publisher: 2F-Spiele

Players: 3-8

Playing Time: 10-20 minutes

Mechanisms: Hand Management, Take That, Backstabing

Sleeves: USA 56x87mm

A fun game of temporary pacts with some players to beat the other ones. A very quick and definitely a great party/filler game for larger groups.

  1. The Others

Publisher: CMON

Players: 2-5

Playing Time: 90 minutes

Mechanisms: Dice Rolling, 1 vs Many, Area Movement, Variable Player Powers

Sleeves: MUS 41x63mm, TCG 63x88mm

A big minis game of »1 vs. many« that is filled with action. The theme is a very intresting one as players face the 7 Deadly Sins.

  1. Cry Havoc

Publisher: Portal Games

Players: 2-4

Playing Time: 60-120 minutes

Mechanisms: Area Majority, Deck Building, Hand Management, Multi-Use Cards, Variable Player Powers

Sleeves: MEU 45x68mm, TCG 63x88mm

If you like asymmetric war games, this is one of the best examples there is. The combat is very original.

  1. Gloomhaven

Publisher: Cephalofair Games

Players: 1-4

Playing Time: 60-120 minutes

Mechanisms: Campaign, Hand Management, Leveling up, Multi-Use Cards

Sleeves: MEU 45x68mm, TCG 63x88mm

If you are willng to put in the time and you like dungeon crawlers where your decision matter more than random dice rolling.. this can be a game for you.

  1. Ticket to Ride

Publisher: Days of Wonder

Players: 2-5

Playing Time: 30-60 minutes

Mechanisms: Contracts, Hand Management, Open Drafting

Sleeves: MEU 45x68mm

This game is one of the most sold board game for a good reason. It's a perfect family game. The rules are simple and the gameplay is rewarding.

  1. Ascending Empires

Publisher: Z-Man Games

Players: 2-4

Playing Time: 75 minutes

Mechanisms: Flicking, Set Collection, Tech Trees

I have a fascination with flicking games that unfortunately is not shared in our gaming group. It's a great example of a mix of »big game« with a rare mechanism.

  1. Loopin' Louie

Publisher: Hasbro

Players: 2-4

Playing Time: 10 minutes

Mechanisms: Real-time, Dexterity

This is a kids game that I love to introduce to new adult players. Everybody just loves this game. It's not a game that will see regular plays but it's always a joy to play a few quick matches and have some great laughs.

  1. Reef

Publisher: Next Move Games

Players: 2-4

Playing Time: 30-45 minutes

Mechanisms: Hand Management, Layering, Pattern Building

Sleeves: TCG 63x88mm

One of the best pattern building games for me. Every turn places on you the decision to take more cards or score some of them and risk that your opponent will take the new card that you really want.

  1. Tiny Epic Galaxies

Publisher: Gamelyn Games

Players: 1-5

Playing Time: 30-45 minutes

Mechanisms: Contracts, Dice Rolling, Follow

Sleeves: TCG 63x88mm, OSRB 88x127mm

I love the follow mechanism and this game does that in a great way. You will look at your opponent's turns just as intently as you do on your turn.

  1. Arcadia Quest

Publisher: CMON

Players: 2-4

Playing Time: 60 minutes

Mechanisms: Dice Rolling, Grid Movement, Campaign

Sleeves: MUS 41x63mm, TCG 63x88mm, BST 70x120mm

Each player controls a group of 3 heroes that run amok on the map trying to score some points by defeating enemy heroes and/or NPC. The game is short enough that a few bad rolls don't leave a bad taste for too long. While the epic moments will give you memories that will last!
